At Epic Ears Rabbitry, we believe that rabbit farming in Kenya is more than just a business — it’s a vehicle for youth empowerment, food security, education, and community transformation. From our base on Waziri Road, Nairobi, we are proud to be making a real difference in the lives of individuals, families, and communities across Nairobi, Kiambu, and beyond.

🧠 Knowledge Transfer & Education

One of our core values is education. We are committed to equipping the next generation of farmers with the skills they need to succeed in rabbit farming in Kenya. We regularly host and participate in training sessions and mentorship programs, including:

We proudly collaborate with Soma Siri Africa, an organization focused on empowering youth with hands-on agricultural and entrepreneurial skills. Through this partnership, we’ve helped young people gain practical knowledge in:

Rabbit housing & feeding

Disease control & treatment

Marketing and finding where to sell rabbits in Kenya

Value addition and rabbit meat processing

Our farm is often used as a demonstration site where learners from Soma Siri Africa and other groups get real-life experience.

We don’t just teach rabbit farming — we mentor, connect farmers to markets, and help them build long-term livelihoods. Many of our trainees now supply rabbit meat in Nairobi and Kiambu, having learned how to raise and sell pedigree rabbits through our support.

Epic Ears Rabbitry promotes rabbit meat in Kenya as a nutritious, affordable, and eco-friendly protein source. By educating communities on its benefits and making it accessible, we are:

Creating jobs in meat processing and distribution

We also teach rabbit value addition, including sausage making, meat preservation, and fur utilization — turning farming into a profitable agribusiness.

🌱 Sustainability & Giving Back

We believe in sustainable farming and circular agriculture. We use rabbit manure in our vegetable garden and offer free manure to nearby farmers to enhance their yields.

We’ve also supported:

Local shelters with rabbit donations for feeding programs

School clubs interested in animal care and environmental education

Clean-up and tree planting drives in Lenana and surrounding areas
